A personal film project

A foray into beauty and the depths within.

We embarked on a little project with no name. Something about discovering the darkness behind beauty. The depth of emotion under surface. I can’t really remember the reasoning so well now, only that it sounded great after we’d been drinking espresso martinis all night. We wanted to find something beyond the perfect. An essence of what it is to be female, quiet and feeling deeply.

“Her sentences were icebergs,

with just the tip of her thought coming out of her mouth,

and the rest kept up in her head,

which I was starting to think was more and more beautiful the longer I looked at her.”

~Gregory Galloway
